Frederic T. Kuntz is a German Director of Photography with a passion for capturing pure authenticity and beauty.
His journey began with 35mm film photography (mostly Adox Scala 50 for black and white and Kodak Portra 400 for color), and from there he quickly developed a sense for the power of motion. Years of working on a wide range of projects and in various studios sharpened his eye for detail and shaped his approach to purely naturalistic, motivated lighting.
Driven by the desire to capture the beauty and diversity of the world, he brings a distinct point of view to every project, from fiction films and commercials for brands like PORSCHE to documentaries for international broadcasters such as ARTE, ZDF and SRF.
Based in Southern Germany, between the Black Forest and the Alps.
